Draft Asset Plan 2025-2035

Project Overview

Have Your Say on Council's Draft Asset Plan 2025-2035. The opportunity to provide feedback closes 5pm AEST Friday 6 June.

Asset Management is a comprehensive planning process to ensure that Council’s $1.03B worth of infrastructure assets are managed in the most cost effective and financially sustainable manner.

The Draft Asset Plan 2025-2035 is a community facing document that shows how the Council’s infrastructure assets will be managed and maintained, while meeting the community’s needs and interests. The Draft Asset Plan 2025-2035 aims to:

  • Define a level of service that maintains the existing assets;
  • Predict future demands on the service;
  • Improve asset management;
  • Understand the condition of the existing assets providing the service; and
  • Determine the funding required to maintain and finally renew aged assets.

It also addresses all major asset groups and sets out the general principles of life cycle asset management and summarises the asset management practices being implemented by Council.
